Happy 3rd Birthday Aaqilah!

On 22nd Dec 2009, genaplah usia Aaqilah - 3 yrs. Kejap jer dah 3 thn. Mama & Papa doakan semoga Aaqilah sentisa sihat dan ceria selalu, serta menjadi anak yg solehah!

Actually dlm bln Dec ni, ada lg yg akan celebrate birthday pd tarikh yg sama, iaitu Abg Long. One day before plak, Cik Su Lah (21st Dec). Kami kat sini doakan semoga Abg Long ngan Cik Su Lah akan mendapat kejayaan di dunia dan kebahagiaan di akhirat serta dimurahkan rezeki dan dipermudahkan segala-galanya! Happy Birthday Cik Su Lah dan Abg Long!

Petai dan Taufu Fa

Apa kaitannya petai n taufu fa? Actually, dah lama teringin nak makan sambal tumis udang petai. Sebut pasal petai ni, teringat lak kenangan ngan Ayh Mi masa kat sini. Tu gara2 nak mkn sambal udang petai lah...Kelakar lak!

Kelmarin masa pergi Asian groceries, tup2 accidentally ternampak lah petai dlm tin ni. So, terus beli n pergi Woolies pergi cari udang lak. Hari ini dptlah buat sambal tumis udang petai ni mkn dgn sayur lemak bayam dan ikan goreng. Yummy!

Lepas lunch, mcm teringin nak mkn taufu fa. Tambah2 lagi tengah2 musim panas ni. Semua benda dah ada, jadi terus jer buat. Biasa beli kat psr malam jer dan tak pernah ambik tahu mcm mana nak buatnya. Nilah rupanya!

Tu tgn Aliyah, tak sabar2 nak mkn. Hehehe...

Trip to Mackay - last day

On the last day, after preparing "bekal" for 4 hours journey, we left the motel at 10 am. From Mackay, we stopped at Salonika beach.

Then stopped at Sarina Sugar Shed to join a tour (sugar mill). For the family ticket (2 adults, 2 kids), we have paid AUD35 for one family. Luckily, Aaqilah was free (under 4 yrs). At the end of the tour, dpt try sugar cane juice (air tebu) yg fresh tanpa gula. Namanya sugar cane, jadi rasanya sgt2 manis. For children, they got free sugar floss (gula "lei"), tapi x brp suka.

Tour guide ni tunjuk air tebu yg diproses pd first time (hitam-campur dgn tanah n kotoran) with another process (cerah) sblm menjadi gula. Last2 jadi warna putih kristal.

We arrrived at home around 530 pm. Uhh!! Very tired!

Trip to Mackay- Day 3

On the 3rd day, we checked out at 10 am and start looking for a new accomodation for the last night. Since the motel didn't have kitchen facility, we looked for another one which having that facility. Alhamdulillah, we got a cheap motel that better than before. Lps masak n makan, we had a bus tour trip for one hour around Mackay for free!

Lps lepak2, kami k Bluewater Lagoon, juga free admission. After spending there for 2 hours, just 5 minutes before closed, we left there and went back to motel.

Trip to Mackay- Day 2

At 10 am, we left the resort and went to Mackay. Mackay memang popular dgn sugar cane. So, dia dikenali sbg"sugar capital of Australia". All the way, we can see sugar cane on the both sides. Ia nampak macam Kedah "jelapang padi" tetapi kat sini penuh dgn sugar cane dan lebih luas lagi. Yg menarik lg, boleh tgk pokok mempelam berderet2 di tepi2 jalan. First destination, we stopped at tourist info centre to find out apa yg interesting kat sini.
